Whether you knew him as Louie, Luis, Blue, Mr. Blue, or Lil Yogi, he was always the same man—steadfast, genuine, and full of heart. A good friend, a loving father, a caring brother, and an inspiring soul. Through his music, his testimony, and his stories, he moved people to do better, be better, and to trust and believe in the Word of God. He touched countless lives and shared his love freely.
He will be deeply and incredibly missed by so many. He is survived by his children, his sisters, his family, his longtime friends, and the hundreds of fans whose lives he impacted.
We know God has welcomed him home with open arms—no doubt with a live orchestra playing as he made an entrance only he could make. Though he is absent in presence, he remains with us always through his music, his spirit, and the love he left behind.
He always spoke about how proud he was of us, his kids, his greatest gift. We promise to continue to make you proud dad and honor the Valenzuela name you gave us. We know you’ll be looking over us throughout all our high accomplishments and all of the lows we are facing at this time during this loss. You were everything to us, my #1 supporter and my biggest hero. The man who taught me how to tie my shoes and how to stand up for myself. I love you forever and always dad.
May you rest in peace and rejoice with those you lost during your time on earth. I know you’re up there singing for your parents, your dearest cousin chris, and everyone one else you once grieved. Your memory will always be alive through us.
